Our friendly Carers Craft Group was set up to support our undervalued carers - those who carry a larger load than most, spending much of their time supporting and caring for others. Our craft group gives respite for a couple of hours a week doing something relaxing and creative whilst chatting to others in a similar situation. Plus there's always tea or coffee to hand and quite often a biscuit or slice of cake.
Each week we work with something different e.g. papercraft, painting, drawing, polymer clay, jewellery, felting, flower arranging, embroidery, macrame, upcycling and much more.
We are also proud so say that since the group was created our work has twice been shown at the Gibberd Gallery based at Harlow Council's Civic Centre!
