Allotment Activities
Our site has lots of different areas:
We have a large sensory garden that is a relaxing place to work in or have a cuppa
Raised beds for those with limited mobility and wheelchair users
A large vegetable planted area
Wildlife areas, including bat nesting boxes, hedgehog and bird houses, bug hotels and insect friendly flowers
Very friendly pet chickens
Fully accessible eco toilets
There is even a stumpery and a flower-filled boat!
Activities:
We have a wide range of activities to take part in, there is always something to do!
We carry out general gardening activities such as planting seeds and weeding
Carpentry and painting skills are taught when building items such as raised beds
And there is still plenty to do on rainy days such as craft and games
